If you intend to fly to the conference, there are two (2) airports that are close to the venue.

  • The local airport is Myrtle Beach International (MYR), driving time about 30 minutes to the hotel. See their website at Myrtle Beach International Airport for detailed information about the airport.

  • Where can I find the Vendor Kit?
    • The Vendor Kit and all associated documents are located in the Vendor Kit section above.
  • What does the vendor fee cover?
    • The vendor fee includes the exhibit space, a skirted table (optional), wastebasket, one (1) 110 volt AC (5 AMP/500 Watt) outlet, and one (1) chair
  • Can my spouse attend the conference with me?
    • Your spouse can participate in some conference activities, but if he/she would like to attend any of the conference sessions, they must register as a Vendor Employee.
  • Can I register onsite?
    • We highly encourage Vendor Companies to register early. By registering early, you will receive many benefits such as ensuring company printed material is included in the attendee packet, secure a booth in the vendor hall, participate in the conference golf tournament, and reserve a room at the hotel.
  • What is the best way to get company materials to the conference?
    • We contract with Convention Makers, Inc., see the link under "Vendor Kit"
  • What is the cancellation/refund policy?
    • Cancel 30 days or more in advance of the conference, full refund
    • Cancel 8-29 days in advance of the conference, 50% refund
    • Cancel 0-7 days in advance of the conference, no refund
    • Cancellations must be in writing (e-mail or fax is acceptable)
  • When can I set up my booth / take down my booth?
    • You can set up your booth either on Tuesday, August 13, between the hours of 5 PM and 8 PM, or on Wednesday, August 14, between the hours of 7 AM and 10:00 AM. The Exhibitor Hall officially opens Wednesday, August 14 at 10:15 AM.
    • You may start to break down your booth no earlier than 12:00 PM, Thursday, August 15 and you must be finished by 5:00 PM the same day (August 15).
  • Can I come to the conference as an attendee and not set up a booth?
    • Vendors Company employees should not register as Cooperative Employees. All Vendor Companies must pay the Vendor Fee of $675/person, regardless of their intent to set up a booth in the Vendor Hall. We strongly discourage Vendors from not exhibiting in the Vendor Hall.
  • Can I attend General and/or Breakout sessions?
    • Of course! Please keep in mind the conference is for Cooperative Employees and seating for all sessions will be given to them as a priority. If there is available seating, vendors are welcome to attend any session.
  • What are the Exhibitor Hall hours?
    • Wednesday, August 14
      • 10:15 AM to 4:30 PM, Exhibitor Hall open to all attendees. Buffet lunch in the Exhibitor Hall.
      • 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Exhibitor Hall will host a Welcome Reception for all Cooperative Employees and guests.
    • Thursday, August 15
      • 9:15 AM to 11:30 PM, Exhibitor Hall open until lunch.
      • 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Exhibitors can breakdown their exhibits
    • Friday, August 16
      • Exhibitor Hall closed.

The Cooperative Technologies Conference & Expo (CTCE) is our new flagship technology conference which replaces the Engineers & Operations Conference (E&O Conference) and the Technology Conference.

    • Entrance for attendee and a guest to the Welcome Reception in the Vendor Hall Wednesday evening and the special live entertainment social Thursday afternoon.
  • Can my spouse attend the conference with me?
    • Your spouse can participate some conference activities, but if he/she would like to attend any of the conference sessions, they must register as a Cooperative Attendee.
  • Can I register onsite?
    • Yes, but we strongly recommend you register online as soon as possible. Also, rooms are limited and get reserved fast, so try to book your room the same day you register for the conference.
  • Does the conference offer educational credits at its sessions?
    • Yes, North Carolina Electrical Engineers can earn Professional Development Hours at each session. There will be attendee sign-in sheets available at the front table of all the sessions that will record your attendance.
    • Other professionals maybe able to count their attendance towards continuing education credits. We would be happy to work with anyone to provide documentation or attendance verification.
  • What is the cancellation/refund policy?

  • Can you bill my Cooperative or do I need to pay at registration?
    • There are two (2) online billing options.
      1. Invoice your Cooperative
      2. Pay by credit card
  • Can I substitute another person if I’m unable to attend?
    • Yes you can! If you find you are unable to attend the conference, you can update the registered Cooperative Employee to someone else using the registration website. If the time is within one week of the conference starting, send an e-mail to TechConference@NCEMCS.com explaining the change and we’ll be glad to help you get that updated.
